I don't criticize without solutions and actions. The current attitude is very stale. I spoke with residents and there is a blaring lack of transparency regarding our local offices and their methods. Anyone paying attention should be upset that the township is dead set wasting resources on pettiness and maintaining the status quo rather than being responsive and helpful stewards of our tax dollars. Working on no-cost solutions to increase residents access to local government is my #1 priority, getting information to the residents quickly and accurately.
As a business owner myself I have experience budgeting, planning, and executing that I will apply to keep Auburn great! Like most residents I know many of the investments downtown are a massive improvement over what was there before. The handwork of local families. I believe local officials should be supporting them rather than putting up roadblocks to their success. I will do whatever is needed to support our local family businesses and farmer's just like I support my own family. The excitement, sense of community and jobs small businesses bring should be welcomed.
I am a strong believer in personal freedom and property rights. The growth of Auburn is inevitable because the overwhelming positives of living in Geauga County. The families choosing our town, a rural area, want more open land and privacy, free from excessive interference. Even though there may be friction, I understand the need for a balanced approach. Specializing in real estate for 18 years, trust I will protect home values and let people use their own land freely. We need responsible policy while reducing taxes and unnecessary expenditures. Let's bring positive open collaboration to our neighbors and township.

Putting My Experience
to Work
A proud resident of Auburn for 10 years, I recently starting a family and a farm here on 40 acres. My goal running for Trustee is to use my skills and experience I have gained in my successful businesses to help our township government better serve all the resident's of Auburn efficiently. I have been a small business owner in Ohio for my entire adult life. Originally from Twinsburg, I started my own landscaping company when I was 16 years old, selling it before heading to college in Hiram, OH. I completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance. Then serving as a volunteer EMT for the City of Hudson. After graduation I worked the technical department at McMaster-Carr in Aurora for 4 years.
For the last 18 years I have been a licensed Realtor® and Notary public in Ohio. Since 2015 I have steadily built a small family run business, doing CNC machining and developing parts for Trucks and Agriculture. During this time, I obtained my CDL-A, I became a certified equipment operator, natural gas installer, and septic system installer and service provider in Geauga County. Taking all my work and life experiences, I understand the value of having a safe and growing community of homeowners and businesses. We need a responsive, hard-working, and helpful local government. I will bring the same energy and work-ethic as Auburn Trustee. -
